Reconstruction parameters
Choose how much source data to process and how long to train.
Presets
Balanced provides a middle ground between processing time and detail. Draft lowers processing limits for an initial inspection. Detail increases limits and memory requirements. Presets are starting points; they do not guarantee a quality level.
Frame sampling
Frame limit caps extracted images. Sampling rate caps frames per second. The actual rate also respects the video duration and source frame rate. Maximum image edge resizes frames while preserving their aspect ratio.
- Frame limit: 12 to 600.
- Sampling rate: 0.5 to 10 fps.
- Maximum image edge: 480 to 1920 pixels.
Training
Iterations control optimization length. Gaussian limit caps the scene primitives. Appearance degree controls view-dependent color. Growth stop must be below total iterations; refinement interval controls how often Gaussians are refined.
- Training iterations: 2,000 to 30,000.
- Gaussian limit: 25,000 to 500,000.
- Appearance degree: 0 to 3.
Save before starting
Parameter changes apply to the next run after Save parameters. Each run stores the configuration used. Re-running creates a new run directory and retains previous output.
Geometry checks
Training requires at least 12 registered cameras and 80% registration coverage. The pipeline checks unit camera rotations, reprojection consistency and parallax. These checks detect specific reconstruction failures; they do not certify a complete or metrically accurate map.
