THIRD-PARTY SOFTWARE

The tools inside Veyra.

Each tool handles a specific part of reconstruction or display. These are application dependencies; Veyra does not currently provide a user-installable plugin system.

FFmpeg

8.1.2

Video preparation

FFprobe reads source video information. FFmpeg samples frames and resizes them for reconstruction. Your video stays on the computer.

COLMAP

4.2.1

Camera reconstruction

Finds image features, matches overlapping views and estimates camera poses and sparse 3D points. Veyra validates the geometry before starting training.

Brush

0.3.0

Gaussian training

Optimizes Gaussian primitives from the reconstructed cameras and images. Training runs through the native GPU runtime and produces Gaussian PLY checkpoints.

Spark

2.3.1

Gaussian rendering

Renders Gaussian scenes inside the desktop viewport. Veyra includes a rendering adapter to match the reconstruction renderer more closely.

Three.js

0.186.1

Scene and navigation

Provides the scene graph, cameras, interaction and overlays used by the Veyra viewer.

Tauri

2

Desktop application

Connects the TypeScript interface to Rust commands for local files, processing and application lifecycle.

SQLite

Bundled with rusqlite

Project metadata

Stores project records and job metadata. Videos, extracted frames and reconstructed models remain ordinary files on disk.

Versions describe the bundled application dependencies. Their respective projects maintain the upstream software. See the runtime notices included with Veyra for licenses and distribution details.
